My writing has appeared or still appears in lots of places, from The Washington Post to the Los Angeles Times to Bookforum to New York to the Daily Beast. (Also Slate, Salon, PRINT, Paste, Utne Reader, and so on.) In a former life, I was a staff writer at The Christian Science Monitor, and before that, I worked at The Boston Globe. I am an MFA candidate at NYU in fiction, a 2010 Barach teaching fellow in nonfiction at the Wesleyan Writers Conference, and a resident of Brooklyn. My first book will be published in 2011.
